At Palm Springs Drag Brunch, we welcome guests of all ages, including kids, with the permission of their parents. Before giving permission, we ask parents to review some examples of the content so they can decide whether the show is appropriate for their child.
By default, your children will not be involved in our performances, including tipping the drag queens. However, if you would like to give permission for our performers to interact with your child, you can request a wristband from your server. This wristband will indicate that your child can participate during the performance.
To eliminate any confusion, our performers will not approach or accept tips from children without a wristband.
Before the show begins, our hostess, Rosemary Galore, will visit each table to provide any additional information you may need to make an informed decision.
You should also be aware that some (other) guests may have concerns about children attending a drag show. We have never encountered a situation where one guest has actually told another how to parent, at least not yet. We would take any such inference in your right to make these decisions very seriously, and we will remove any guest that imposes their views on you from the performance.
Content Your Child Might be Exposed to at Brunch.
Examples of the content in the show are available here. We reiterate, the content is adult in nature, and you should exercise your judgement. However, it is highly stylized and part of drag culture, rather than an actual set of behaviors that might appear in sexual scenarios. The intent is to shock and amuse, not to arouse.
Waivers
If you are bringing a minor to PS Drag Bruch, you may be asked to acknowledge and sign a waiver before we grant your minor entry to the showroom. The waiver specifically addresses the following:
-
- That you are able to make decisions on the content your minor consumes.
- That you are aware of, and have determined that, the kind of content we are presenting is suitable for your minor
- That you will hold our performers, PS Drag Bruch, and any of its officers and partners blameless for any injury caused to your minor by viewing and participating in this content
A waiver will be sent to you by email in advance of your brunch. We regret that if you refuse the waiver after we have asked for it, your minors will not be admitted to the showroom, and this will not be grounds for a refund.
